DR. GERARD MOAWAD leads our experienced team to deliver evidence-based pulmonary and ventilator care. Dr. Moawad is American Board Certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. RHYTHMS is focused on achieving each patient’s particular goals and objectives, including:
- Assess and evaluate to determine specific patient needs.
- Manage symptoms and complications of the patient’s disease.
- Reverse the effects of de - conditioning.
- Improve overall quality of life.
- Provide treatment for specific medical conditions and strategies to comply with medication and exercise regimens.
Ventilator Care
Ventilators assist our residents in breathing with ease and fill a necessary gap between intensive care and a patient’s home.
Our facility is well equipped to accommodate residents in need of short or long-term ventilator support. The staff is specially trained to care for ventilated residents and we work in collaboration with our pulmonary specialists to develop a specific care plan. In addition to our skilled nursing, we offer a licensed respiratory care professional and comprehensive speech, physical and occupational therapists.
Our goal is to achieve the best-case scenario, having residents live without ventilation assistance. While at Lynn Care Center, rest assured that our ventilator-dependent residents will enjoy an array of activities including social, religious, and on-site beauty salon and barber services.
